after someone has had 2 m/c’s in a row? Why wouldnt you do all the test before anyone had any m/c’s? Aren’t they just blood tests?
I went to the RE today to have the u/s to make sure all has been passed with the m/c pills I had inserted on Monday and talked to him about getting some chromosomal testing done and he said something about now that I had 2 m/c’s in a row they had some other things they could test for and do.
I don’t understand why they would let someone go thru all this pain and then do the tests...... I wish they would have at least offered them to me before I went thru all of this fertility stuff :(

We all live in a world with limited resourses, and money along with things have to be distrubuted throughout the population accordingly. Given that finding anything wrong in the general population that would determine whether there's something that would provoke a miscarriage, hundreds of thousands of dollars would have to be spent to find that one person that has it...
However, if the person selects herself out of the population, then the probability of finding a true abnormality increases making better sense from a societal point of view to spend limited resources on these people that show a need...which again brings about the fact that one has to suffer to finally get some testing done :(
