Ok at 10 dpo my hcg level was 17, but my progesterone level was just 13.6. At 5 dpo my progesterone level was 146.5. Why is there such a big difference in levels? My RE told me to start taking my progesterone suppositories twice a day. Will the low progesterone levels cause me to have miscarriage?

Remeber, from being stimulated with gonadotropins, you had many corpus luteums producing progesterone. Some of these corpus luteums were probably regressing dropping your Progesterone to a more normal level...remember it is at about this time and later that the hCG the pregnancy produces will maintain the corpus luteum and allow it to produce Progesterone through the first trimester..
