Beta Blockers are used for a bunch of different indications - the most popular reason for these drugs is for cardiac protection after a heart attack...however it is very common to take this medication to help prevent migraines. I am not exactly sure how it works, but apparently it does for lots of people. Def should not prevent you from conceiving and like Dr. Q said, the doc may keep you on it during pregnancy as well.

Beta Blockers are typically a blood pressure medication. Sometimes given for anxiety, elevated heart rate, high blood pressure etc..Like in ur case ur Dr has given it to treat migraines.

I am glad that I know now that it will not effect the TTC precess.

I got my + OPK yesterday so I will be doing alot of BDing for the next day or so. Well I have been doing alot of BDing anywhich way. LOL! Hoping since I had the HSG done last week that it will help out this month.
