dr q! need advice

Yes Dr Q.. I am interested in knowing this too. I have heard 6 to 10 dpo but I have seen on alot of sites the samething that Mrs is asking.

Well, that's why FertilityTies is here to end all controversy...

Implantation at the earliest happens on 5dpo, 6dpo usually is when the embryo finally makes it to the uterus (it takes it about 6 days to travel down the fallopian tubes)

Implantation can then take upto 3 days once inside the uterus, hence I say that hCG in blood can be detected starting about cd9 or 10 at the earliest..

Obviously though, there's many things that happen, and it's not as simple as "implantation" in and of itself.

The embryo must stick to the wall, implant, and actually invade the endometrium, and cover itself there for the pregnancy to progress

thats what i researched and found out too most sites said 6-10 even 7-11 or 12.

so it take 6 days from conception egg meeting sperm to travel in the tubes and then another 3 days implanting, am i right?

correct, up to about 3 days for it to implant within the endometrium

Caren.. it takes 6 days for the egg to go throught the tubes and to the uterus.

so why some say 11 and 12? many of them say that, so many of them wrong?

no mrs. am just wondering cause it confuses me too. i asked that rethorically can so many of them be wrong? i heard implantation is not possible at 11 and 12dpo and if it does happen it usually ends in miscarriage. i guess only god knows what really happens LOl

mrs. i dont kno but af was due july 4 and on june 30 i saw bright red blood just 2 drop no af symptom nothing at all just saw bright red and i thaught normally af started out brown then red and cramps, but af did come firday july 4 what the hell was that on monday so i thaught implant, so i did a research...lots of women had things to say.

yes i did last week thurday nite into friday morning

but Katie i had bright red on monday stop tuesday, wednesay and thurday nite brown and friday bright red

Caren.. if u had to wear a pad or tampon and it was full red flow then it was AF. I had a simialar thing happen to me last month. I had AF for 3 days which is usually 5 to 7 and I only wore 1 pad a day which I usually have to change it every few hours then it went to brown discharge. Not sure what happened with my AF. LOL!
