Dr Q...exercise and late period question

I just started a 12 week work out program at a local gym. This workout is not designed for me to lose weight or lose a lot of body fat, it's just to get me toned up and back in shape and develop better eating habits...I was on the fast food and soft drink diet LOL. I have been doing this since May 27 (about 2 weeks,) I go 3 times a week. According to fertilityfriend, my chart says I ovulated on May 21, before I started working out. I don't temp, it is going by OPKs an my CM.

My question is can exercise make your period late AFTER you have already ovulated? I am 3 days late according to my chart and getting BFNs. I know exercise can throw ovulation off but can it make you late after ovulation? I wasn't temping so I know it could be off a few days. I am on CD34 and no signs of AF. The last time I had a 34 day cycle was back in Jan. and we traveled the week of ovulation and I think that threw it off. My cycles are usually 31 days at the most.

Once you ovulate, regardless if you excersice extensively, you'll still get your peiod on time...The only way now to know if you truly ovulated is to check to see if you have Progesterone in your system, and/or checking a BBT..
