Dr.Q about cyst with clomid! Please help!

Does a cyst go away by itself or have to take birth control? I have a 3cm due to 50mg of clomid. My doctor did not give me anything. Today I am on cd10 (I usually ovulate on cd12)and had an U/S. The nurse told me that the cyst grew to 3.7cm and have no follicles. Will the cyst keep on growing and when does it usually go away? WIth AF or with ovualtion? I am worried that it's going to take a lot of time to go away. Can it still go away before next cycle? I am waiting to do IUI so this is so frustrating!

I am confused b/c I thought you got cysts after ovulation. So did you get af then??

Yes I got the cyst after ovulation but then I got AF. I went today on cd10 and the cyst got bigger!

well, i found out i had multiple cyst on my overys when i was i think 15 or 16. and yeah, the dr. told me to take birth control but as far as everything else, im not sure... sorry

oh and birth control shrinks them so im pretty sure they keep growing my grandma had one the size of a 7 mf!!! after they took it out they said she wouldnt have kids.. she had 4 :)
