We are getting ready to do a D/E cycle and I was just curious about pregnancy risks after 35. I assume all or at least most of the issues that can happen in a pregnancy after 35 are related to the egg being older, right? If I get preggo with a D/E cycle then would I still need all those tests to make sure baby is ok? I cant think of them now but I know they want you to have a lot more tests then they do when you are a young mama-2-be.
Besides the toll that pregnancy brings on your body (old), are there any actual risks if getting preggo with younger eggs at a older age and would I need to have those tests done or the amnio?

I think if its you , then I would say the tests they do are in the best interest of you and the baby.. and then if (God forbid) something was not right, you could better prepare.
What meds do you need to take for this cycle! I am psyched for you!!!
