I just turned 40 and had my first IUI yesterday. (We had a miscarriage in January at 7 weeks after only two months of trying). Dr. Quintero put me on clomid (50 MG).
Dr. Quintero said on Monday, prior to my IUI that I had two healthy follicles. Yesterday when I went to get the IUI, Dr. Q. said that I'd ovulated two eggs from each ovary!
He told me that right now, there's an egg in each fallopian tube!

My husband's sperm (after washing) yesterday was:
Volume: 1.1
Concentration: 17 M
Motility: 87%
Here's my stats:
Recent FSH: 7.2
Estradiol: 27
Uterus: Recent Hysteroscopy showed healthy uterus
Uterine Lining prior to IUI: Dr. Q said it was "healthy"--one point below where he wants it to be, but he said it was still good.

In addition, twins run in my family DEEP!:
My dad is a twin;
My paternal grandmother said her grandmother had twins;
My paternal grandfather's side has 17 sets total (both identical and fraternal!);
My husband's side has two sets of twins as well!

Here are my questions:
DOES MY PROFILE MEAN I HAVE A GOOD CHANCE OF CONCEPTION THIS TIME AROUND?
DOES MY PROFILE MEAN A GOOD CHANCE FOR CONCEPTION OF TWINS WITH THIS IUI?
WHAT ARE THE ODDS OF HAVING IDENTICAL TWINS WITH THIS IUI (If one of those egg splits)?

Thanks for your help!
I'm still hopeful!!!
