Doctors: need your expertise on Contractions and a full bladder

Oh Oli!!! thinking of you sweetie! I hope you find the answer. The last few weeks are just so very hard and uncomfortable. You have to drink to stay hydrated, but then you have to pee b/c you have drank so much water and are uncomfortable! You can't win!!! LOL! :) hugs!

hey fran! it's a vicious cycle. i was just curious b/c i'm like curious george about the human body and i hate not knowing things (so anal of me).

i did read a lot of women talk about the contractions when their bladder is full, so i know that part is normal... was just wondering why? i wonder if the uterus has a lot of sensitive nerves on the outside that when touched causes it to contract, or whether it's like a chemical/hormonal thing. as you can see, i'm not very science oriented. LOL.

but WOW, is it painful. i wake up at night swearing like a sailor sometimes b/c it hurts so bad. my dog thinks i'm crazy...b/c i talk to myself as i get out of bed. LOL. dh is knocked out and never even hears me so that is good... well... not so good after the baby comes and needs to be picked up when crying. LOL.

i'll just keep drinking the water though.. i know it's important to stay hydrated!
