I have PCOS and I've taken Clomid for 3 months with pretty much no results.
So those of you that have had HSG's - did your doc make you wait a month before you got to take pills again?
My Dr wrote in her notes, do HSG and then letrozole or injectables after results.
So I asked the nurse...does this mean I take the pills late? She said no, you would wait a month. I was like, REALLY? Can't she put me on the letrozole THIS month, do the HSG and then see what is going on? That way a month isn't wasted.
Am I being too pushy? That just seems like a waste of a cycle to me.
The nurse said she would talk to the Dr and see what she says. I mean, really...what is the harm in giving me meds for a month - If my tubes are blocked then it won't do any good anyway.

I had one done on Dec. and started meds on Jan. cuz it wuz to late.
I guess the doc wants to make sure that everything is OK.
