I had my 37 week check today and was totally not happy. I got to see that Doctor that I didn't like and he came in and once again I didn't get checked. I told him I had been having contractions and lots of Braxton Hicks and he says in a sarcastic tone, "Normal" and that was it. One friggin word. Then he goes lay back and he measured me and listened to her heart and then he sits me back up, made a check mark on my chart and said, "Good Luck". Then he walked out......My husband and I were like ummmmmm that was really great!! So it has been 3 weeks now since I have seen my actual OB and she is back in the office next week and her schedule is booked full already since she was gone for so long. So next week I see yet another friggin Doctor in the practice. This is really starting to piss me off. We were hoping to see my OB so we can further discuss being induced but now I won't get to see her until the 20th and I am due the 26th so there is no point now.

Amanda, I would be totally frustrated if I were you! The next time ya go into your drs see if you can just schedule out the rest of your appts to be sure you get scheduled with your dr. I have mine scheduled clear through November.

Sorry, I haven't been on lately. It has been a crazy week! Not much is happening here, still dealing with Braxton and Hicks and all that lovely stuff. I have a busy day today, the amish are outside putting two new garage doors on for us today, I am going out this morning with a friend I haven't seen in a while and have my last baby shower this afternoon. I am glad the showers are gonna be overwith cuz after today I can actually get everything where it needs to be and buy whatever else we need without somebody saying "quit buying you still have a shower yet". Its hard not to buy when ya have a baby on the way, lol. Hope you all are feeling well and having a good weekend!

Amanda- Thats horrible at 37 weeks they should def. be checking you. My OB did a u/s at 32 weeks to check my cervix for dialation along w/ checking the baby. But she told me once I hit 36 weeks which will be my next apt. I will have weekly visits and will be checked every visit. That's crazy at 37 weeks he should def. take your saying your having contractions seriously and check you! Not just say Normal well no crap its normal but is it braxton hicks or contractions ya jerk every woman knows at some point she's gonna have contractions she doesn't need him telling her Oh thats normal part of pregnancy! Grr lol your doctor office makes me mad lol

Nicole- Have fun at your shower!

As for us its nice and sunny outside today so i'm sending DH up on the roof to get my christmas lights hung while we still have time and there's not 3 feet of snow out there! Christmas is my favorite holiday so I have a TON of christmas decor. I figure we can at least get the lights strung along the roof we outline our whole house its pretty time consuming and I figured it would be a lot easier to do while its warmer out then wait a few more weeks when we'll prob. have a ton of snow and it will be to close to Owen's arrival time to be worrying about lights lol. Hope everybody has a great weekend!

Nicole have a great shower hun!! I know what you mean about wanting the showers over so you can go out and buy all the stuff you will need. I had 2 showers and then after the last one I went home and made a list and we went out and got everything that was left that we needed the very next day lol.

Hooch- Oh girl that is an excellent idea about the Christmas Lights. I am going to have to mention that to my DH. We get some funky weather here in Missouri. Today it is 62 and the rest of this weekend is supposed to be great but come monday we have lots of rain and the temps are supposed to drop. Gotta love that Missouri weather lol. I can't remember if it was you or someone else but someone lives in Nebraska or Iowa and I know they know how I feel about the weather lol.

Amanda- I live in PA the weather here has been crazy too we had almost half a foot of snow about the 2nd week of October and then on and off snow since and then today it was in the 60's so I figured we would take advantage and get those lights up at least on the roof! Which i'm happy to say DH got up there and got them on the roof and Wyatt & I put the lights on the bushes in front of the house the rest of the stuff I think we'll wait to put out a little closer to time don't wanna look to crazy w/ a mr. and mrs. clause sitting on the front porch lol prob. put that stuff out after turkey day!

LOL that is hilarious!! I always put my tree up and all that fun stuff either the night of Thanksgiving or the day after and my inlaws think that I am nuts. Hey tree's are pretty people and I want to enjoy at least a full month of it LOL. My inlaws don't put their tree or anything else up until the first or second week of December...What is the point of that?!? I love sitting by the tree at night when all the lights are out except for the lights on the tree. It is so calming and pretty. That is crazy that you already had snow. Usually that would be us here in Missouri but so far we have made it to November without snow. I am kind of freaked out by this beautiful weather at this point. Either it means we are going to get slammed with nasty weather this winter or maybe it means that we won't have any snow. I would be so sad if it didn't snow sometime before Christmas. After Christmas I could care less if we ever got snow but you gotta at least have a white Christmas lol.

Ok, ladies I know what state some of you are from but now all of you. I think it would be neat if we could post what state we are from.

I am from Ohio and the weather has been funky here this year also!

I am in Georgia - we rarely get snow, but I would LOVE a white Christmas this year!

Amanda, we also put our tree up the day after Thanksgiving - I'm like you - I want to enjoy it for a whole month :) It is so calming and relaxing to turn on the lights at night with a fire...I love it!

Amanda- We always put our tree up thanksgiving night too! Christmas is my favorite time of year we go all out this year will be extra special cause Owen will arrive just in time! Yea we always get snow in October we have pictures of us trick or treating when we were about 9 or so in 4 feet of snow we had to wear our snow suits under out costumes lol we live right smack on top of the mountain. Its weird though cause my husband works in a town about 20min. away but its down the mountain the weather there is complete opposite we'll be having a blizzard up here down there the suns out lol. Its pretty nice outside today too DH has work but Wyatt & I are going into my mom's to celebrate her birthday!

I picked up the last of the things I need before Owen arrives (so I say now i'll end up thinking of something else lol) but as of right now we are 100% ready! I got myself some new pajamas to wear at the hospital and at home as soon as its out of the wash i'll get all that packed up. Then all I will have left to pack is last minute stuff like my hair dryer and things like that I am still using daily. 33 Days to go until my c-section date!! Hard to believe its that close already! I hope everybody has a wonderful sunday I have to finish up my laundry so we can get going up to visit my mom.
