Cysts are gone!!! :O)

Just wanted to give everyone the update: After my first round with 75IU of Follistim (6 mature follicles and 25million sperm) and IUI we got a BFN and found 3 cysts. We had to take off a month and HOPE that the cysts went away by the next month so we could begin a new cycle. I don't think I really ovulated as I used OPKs at home and never really got a real +. AF showed up as expected, pretty much on time and U/S showed that all the cysts are gone. :O) I was able to begin new cycle of Follistim and will go in for 1st U/S on Sat. to follow with my 2nd IUI when he follies are ready. I am also doing acupuncture. Thanks for all your support!!

JenStar- was your AF late ? Did you even get AF after your first round
The reason I am asking is I took 50 MG of clomid this round, got my + OPK and progesterone was 87 I am still not on AF and either 15 or 16 DPO and tested negative on 14 DPO.. After reading on the net, sometimes a delay in AF can be due to a cyst, just wondering if that happened to you

hmmm, when i had cysts my af wasnt late but all i did to make it come was stop taking the progesterone, lol!
I knew that i had the cysts cuz about 4 ro 5 days b4 AF was to arrive i had strange pains that didnt feel good at all! I have like 4 or 5 large ones tho so that may have been why.
Is your beta right away in the morning so we all dont have to wait so long?????? You are always right on schedule with AF so this is strange for you...... i hope its all good news 2moro!
I bet they cheated and took a HCG test with your prog test tho cuz i just found out my docs office does that and just doesnt tell us!

i asked for all my records to see how my levels went with this m/c and with the last and then i was looking and even with the IUI's when i would go in they would check the HCG level along with the prog level and write next to it "cheat" so they are taking them - at least at my office they are!
How sensitive is your test? The ones i have here pick up at 10 so they pick up very very early. If your test wasnt in the morning i would send you one!!

Jenstar, I have a 3cm cyst due to clomid and am afraid that it's going to take long for it to go away. Today cd10 I had an ultrasound and the nurse told me that they cyst grew to 3.7cm (could be because I am at around ovulation time) How big were yours? I skipped this cycle due to the cyst and am freaking out that I have to skip a couple of cycles more!
janet, I don't know if I had cysts when I was on clomid because I wasn't monitored with u/s. When I had my 2 IUIs with injections I always got cysts and the 1st time they went away totally on their own by the next cycle. The 2nd time I was put on BC because I started protocol for IVF and even with the BC one of the cysts remained but it was very small so Dr. still allowed me to begin meds. I don't remember the exact size but I do think it was close to the size you have.Hopefully yours will go away with one cycle and you will be ready to start up again!!! Lots of luck :O)
