Cramping during early pregnancy?

Is it normal to have mild cramping during early pregnancy? I've had a dull ache in my uterus for the last week or so (I'm six weeks along) but I haven't had bleeding or anything. I've also had slight nausea (no vomiting, just a bit queasy). Does it sound like I need to call my Dr. or is this cramping normal? Thanks!
