Could weight loss actually prevent ovulation?
I haven't had my period for 14 months. i am 200lbs, so I think that might be the cause. I have been taking estrogen and provera for almost 2 months and it has yet to bring back my period. if it doesnt work this round i am going to do some serious weight loss, but i am scared because i dont want to screw up my hormones more. can i get some advice?

yes, fast rapid or extreem weight loss can effect hormones and stop a period but in your case you will prob go back to normal ovulation after weight loss as long as you are doing it correctly.
The reason you are not ovulating most likely has something to do wiht your weight - a lot of ladies on here have been able to turn their PCOS around and ovulate normally after losing some weight.
