I've taken the Prometrium for 8 days now.. 2 more days left.. and all of a sudden for no reason at all.. my body started experiencing that typical "fight or flight" response..
My mind was calm.. I wasn't upset or worried.. but my heart was racing, I felt an adrenaline surge, felt light headed, got quiet and wide eyed... fluttery stomach.. I guess the only way to describe it was I felt frantic.. but only physically...
I was wondering, "what in the world is going on?" It happened in the middle of driving to pick my husband up from work.. nothing out of the ordinary had happened....
Could this be a side effect?

Interestingly enough, I have heard about this in patients using Progesterone and other fertility meds. I'd keep a close watch on it, and usually, it doesn't come back. If it does, please talk to your doc who may want to switch your meds
