Conception after delayed ovulation?

Woman_8

If ovulation is delayed 5-6 days in a cycle due to stress and/or illness, but does eventually occur, are the chances of conception and successful implantation in that cycle significantly less? Will the luteal phase be shorter, or the same length? If conception and implantation occur, is the chance of miscarriage higher?

Thanks!

Hi Kris,

Most likely, pregnancy rate would be the same, as ovulation day will vary, but after ovulation, a period is expected unless pregnant about 14 days later
