CM and ovulation

Can you have minimal to no CM and still ovulate? OPK's told me that I had O'ed today...and I can tell you by the uncomfortableness that I am experience that that is probabyl true, but I don't have CM. Is this possible?

By no means is the presence of cervical mucus essential...many women never notice it and have no problems getting pregnant...
