Clomid Question

well since i take clomid on days 3-7 of my cycle and i ovulate on cd 14, i assume you would ovulate on cd 16??? not 100 percent sure though.

are you going in for ultrasounds to check your follicle size?

Angela, no I'm not yet. I'm going in on day 21 to get a blood test to see if I've ovulated. I guess I just want to know if I will ovulate when I normally ovulate (CD day 23) or if the clomid will cause me to ovulate earlier. I've read that you ovulate 5-9 days after your LAST pill but I don't know if this applied to people with wierd periods or not...

Clomid can cause you to ovulate earlier. I would start doing the OPKs from CD 9. Clomid is specifically meant to regulate the cycle

Agree with HopeN and angela, and unless doing ultrasounds, one can not know exactly when one will ovulate...The only thing we know about the menstrual cycle is that one ovulates, one can expect a period about 14 days after unless preggos...

hi, i am in the same situation as you, i miscarried in march but i did have a period after that, the doc things i only had a period because my uterus need to shed and i didnt ovulate. he has me on 50 mg 3-7 and i usually O around CD25 so he says to expect O around cd14.
