Clomid & Ovidrel Injections

Woman_0
hopeful...

November 13, 2009

Hi there

I got a BFP this month on 17dpo following this dosage:

150mg clomid days 3-5

10000 ovidrel trigger

5000 ovidrel booster days 3,5 and 7

On this treatment for a few months (had one chemical pregnancy on it before) and day 21 progesterone level this month was 60ng/dl. The other months it varied between 34 and 49.

On the day of my BFP I got blood tests done and the results of the progesterone were 1.9. I later started to bleed. Is it normal for progesterone to drop this quickly or should I be testing earlier so that I can get progesterone support?

Thanks for help.

On the day of your period, this low of a progesterone level is expected. If you'd need luteal support, one needs to check Progesterone 7 days post ovulation
