clomid and multiples

Does increasing the dose of clomid(i.e-50 mg to 100 mg ) increase the chance of multiple births?

Depending on how you would respond to the higher dose, it can over-stimulate your ovaries and produce more than one egg, so it can definitely increase the chance of multiple births...but I think not as big of a chance when you have the injectable gonadotropins or any strong injectable ovulation inducer. Thanks lexie for your help,

that's the right answer and clomid by increasing the dose can slightly increase the chances of multiples, but not by much and nowhere near the chance with injectable gonadotropins
