clomid and evening primrose oil

I have tried clomid for 2 months, I ovulated but did not concieve, then I took 2 months off. This month my dr. upped my dosage to 200mg days 3-7 and I have been taken evening primrose oil to help with cm (2000mg daily. I was told to take the primrose until I ovulate. Has anyone used this combination and been successful. We have been trying for almost 2 years and can't seem to concieve #4
