Clomid and AF?
July 18, 2008
OK, I will be taking Clomid next month and I am wondering when will I get AF after I take the last pill if not preggo? I will take it from CD3 to CD7. Thanks!
katie i know for a fact that it did not change my ovulation days when i was taking the clomid with my ov watch...and and you will start 14 days after ovulation like you normally do at least i did.now i did get cyst so thats the only bad thing about taking clomid and not being monitored.if you get a cyst dont know it and continue on could cause you some problems.just to say i did get a cyst with just clomid.and i just had a cyst with clomid and injectable.so just be careful hun!
Katie, your o dates may change - mine did. Clomid will help to lengthen your cycles - especially the follicular stage (so your follcles and lining can grow)I ovulated around cd9-11 without clomid. This month - my second month on clomid i o'd on cd14 and my cycles have lengthened as well. They are usually 25-26 days. Last month it was 28 days and I am assuming it will be longer this month as well. Hopefully she won't show her ugly head at all!
Hi Katie i have read where after taking clomid for five days which ever cycle day you decide to commence clomid, you should ovulate 5-9 days after taking the last pill, after you get a positive O, you should get af if your not preggo 14 days after or depending your your lutheal phase. hope this helps
Thanks so much ladies. I think that this will help me out on when I will O and when AF is suppose to come. I will use the OV Watch and OPK's to see what it says next month.
Im only taking it for 2 months and thats it so Im hoping that I dont get a cyst. Im praying that nothing goes wrong and everything turns out for the best.

LOL! Different for everyone:) I know 5-9 days is what they told me at the Dr's office but my O was never that early & I was freakin till some of the ladies on here assured me that that was not unusual & even likely...If you're an OKP user & can deal with all the lines, lol, I'd def keep on using them Katie:))
