Hi lesley if you don't ovulated you will not have your period and that also means you cannot get preggo. Now if you ovulate and you are preggo you will not have af. If you ovulate and not preggo your period will come 14 days later (given a +/- 2days window). Now if you don't ovulate yes you will need provera to help bring on what they say is a "dummy" period to re-start a new course of clomid and/or other forms of fertility meds.

Now if you don't ovulate on your own and need help to ovulate and taking meds and don't ovulate it might need to talk with your dr about increasing the meds or moving to another form of fertility meds to help you.

Question for you do you know if or when you ovulate via opk's (ovulation predicator kits), bbt's, progestorne test, u/s, beta (blood test for pregnancy)....if not it's time to see your dr before you start taking provera to induce your period. Keep us posted and ****babydust***

I really don't know Lesley if you are cd30 it's too early to tell. Are you under dr's care while taking the clomid? I would say if you are and if you are taking clomid you need to be under dr's care I would get your progestorne level checked and u/s done to see if you ovulated. Or you give it another week and no period see your dr.

I do recommend you to start using opk's and bbt to help you determine when or if you are ovulating and it takes out the guess work of what you are dealing with right now.

Lesley I'm sorry I misread the post above. How do you know you ovualted? When did you ovulate? If you know 100% that you ovulated via using opk, bbt, progestore test then if not preggo you will get your period 14 days later after ovulation (given +/- 2 days). If ovulation was not confirmed via my above post then no period. Then it would be time to visit your dr.

Hi Lesley I'm reading some of your past threads are you under dr's care with taking clomid. I would say if you are not under dr's care and taking clomid on your own that you are risking some health concerns if you con't this. Keep us posted!!!!
