Sir, My name is Cena, I am a 25 year old female who resides in Virginia i am in the military and my husband lives 600 miles away and we desperately want a child, i was given clomid 50 mg, and told to take these pills on days 5-9 of my period, as well as have sex during those days well we did that and due to me having to be back in virginia by the 6th of August we only had 2 days after the last clomid pill was taken to have sex, i was told by a pharmacist that i should have started to "early ovulate" around day 4 or 5 of taking the clomid pills is that true? Now that i am researching clomid on the internet i am getting all types of answers what are the chances that i did ovulate during those 7 days and became pregnant? Please Advise, Sincerely, Major Confused!

The only way we would have been able to tell if you ovulated would be is you tested with an OPK. The good this is that sperm can live upto 3 days, so that if you ovulated on or before CD 13-14, which most people on clomid can, then you're going to be ok, but again we're giving best guesses since every one is different but odds are in your favor. Good luck and keep us posted!
