Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor or Clearblue Ovulation Predictor Kit

Hey gals, I currentl have the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor while at the same time being on Clomid. In the booklet that comes along with the monitor, it says that ovulation readings will be affected by Clomid. Here's my question, I am having an IUI this month for the first time and being that I have to track my own ovulation, RE reccomends the Clearblue Ovulation kit to recognize ovulation. Is there a drastic difference between the monitor and the ovulation predictor kit? Don't they operate the same? Anyone with input or experience, please feel free to chime in!!!! Thank you.

I have not used the monitor but used the Clearblue Ovulation Kit and my doc said the kit with the lines and not the face is the best for detecting ovulation as it is more sensitive to the hormones.
