Hello ladies-

I am thinking a little ahead and trying to think of a unique and cute photo idea for our christmas cards this year. Alayna will be between 16-18 wks when I take the pic.... any ideas?

So far I have thought about having her sit (i assume she will be sitting up by then???) in just a diaper (perhaps with a red diaper cover) and a santa hat and wrap xmas lights around her...havent thought of a saying for that though..

also thought if we cant get a good picture that I could use one of her crying and put something like Silent Night, what's that?

ANy ideas appreciated!!!!!

Hey Erin, nice idea abt the Christmas pic, you made me all excited, Im going to do one for the holiday season as well. Ok, lil Alayna can sit when shes 18 weeks, only with support, she cant sit by herself. I like the red diaper idea..would be so adorable. If its for christmas, I love the santa idea.

Well, I don't know about for a baby, but a few years ago we gave all the kids in the family a set of the reindeer antlers on the headband (the kind they sell in the dollar tree) & grouped them all together & took a picture-it was too cute. Then later that night I snapped a pic of my cousins little boy with his still on & he'd taken a bright red bow off one of the packages & stuck it on his nose, the tree was in the background & looked all sparkly & it would have made the cutest Holiday card-she had a baby girl by the next Christmas so she could not use it!

I like your idea about the diaper butt & lights tangled around her, great idea!

What about having her in a big ol xmas wrapped box? The places around here have great props and take some awesome pics of babies!

When my daughter was 6 months it was around easter and they stripped her down naked and taped a cotton ball to her butt and put ears on her head and turned her to the side and threw some eggs around her but they had it as a black and white picture and then took some super soft colors and re-touched only the eggs, her eyes and the basket she was plying with - its a great picture - one of my favs!

YOu could do the same with the santa thing and just have her hat and diaper (if she wears one) colored, it may sound weird but it looks super cool!

Are you taking her in to get the pcis done or doign them at home?

You could put her in the center of the floor with an opened box, a big one so it looks like it was just opened and she came out of it with wrapping paper all around her on the floor, she can be holding a big red bow too. AWWWW can't ya just picture that??? So cute. I may do this now. LMAO!!
