Cervix question

How do I check the position of my cervix?

First I would say that it takes a couple of months to learn how your cervix changes throughout your cycle. That being said it is easy to do it in the shower that way everything is clean and always do it at the same time of the day. Use either your middle or index finger and insert it in your vagina. Feel towards the back for your cervix. You should feel an opening. Depending on the time of your cycle it can be easier or harder to find. It can be hard (like the tip of your nose) or soft (like your lips). Then also observe if the opening is open or more closed. Normally open, high and soft mean ovulating or close to it and closed, low and hard means your AF is going to come. But eveyone is different and until you keep track of your own for a while it can be hard to interpet. Hopefully this helps. I found it very helpful when I was trying. Now I'm 5 weeks along!!!! :) Good Luck

Quick question about cervix. At my Doctor's Appt. yesterday the RN told me that my Cervix was closed.. I'm not sure of the postition but it does feel high to me (to reach it it takes the length of my middle finger.. is that considered high? sorry TMI) I wouldn't say it was COMPLETELY soft but it isn't hard either.

My main question is... (trying to determine my REAL DPO date) if the cervix is closed does that mean that implantation is no longer possible?

I think I am 8DPO today but I could also be 5DO. I think I may have had implantation on the 26th.
