Cervical Mucus and ovulation

My husband and I have a 15 month old and have been working on baby #2 for 4 months. When I have cervical mucus (wet, clear egg white like) the OPK test is negative.... am I understanding it all wrong? With my son we got pregnant the first attempt. so my question is how and when from now would I be ovulating???

Hey Nicksmum, Usually EWCM comes 3-4 days before ovulation. So I would say ur ovulation is around the corner. Sometimes it just takes a little longer. Good luck and keep us posted

nicksmummy, i've always had an abundant amount of of ewcm about 3 days prior to ovulation w/ less right around the time of ovulation.

so it appears you should be ovulating soon and your opk should be positive soon. Good luck on getting preggo!
