Cervical Mucous and Pregnancy - 17 weeks

Anyone that is pregnant that can answer this (doctors too please).

I will be 17 weeks tomorrow and keep having cm when I pee (coming out in the toliet - sorry TMI). Its stretchy and white. I had it at 15 weeks and my doctor checked and said that I have a lot of cm, did an ultrasound and the baby looked fine.

Is this normal? I don't ever remember having this with my son. How long will it last? Is there ever a cause for concern?

Hi, I am almost 15 weeks, and I too have had a TON of CM, somtetimes it wet, creamy, yellow, or green. My doc. too said it was fine, and I don't have a yeast infection. I had all kinds of CM wiht my son too, I think it's just a pregnancy thing!

Hi Amy,

I am 22 weeks pregnant and I too have cm. I am sure what you have is normal- even if it seems to be a lot to you. Every woman- and every pregnancy is different. If you are worried ask your Dr. to check into it again.

I am only 10 weeks and I am having the same issues.. This is my 4th, and I remember having to wear panty liners towards the end of second trimester til I delivered with the first 3, but not this early on... I'm sure its normal...

Hi Amy

I Am 24 weeks pregnant and I too have Cm. My Doc told me that its normal if you are worried talk to your Doc.

Thanks ladies! Glad I'm not alone.

And, I did email my OB she said it is normal :) I don't mean to worry but I can't help it. After miscarrying, anything thing that seems out of the 'norm' worries me.

Hi Amy!

Like everyone said the cm is normal! Some people have more than others, but it was pretty much there all the time through my whole pregnancy. take care and hope the next few months go smoothly! :)

Oh yes..16 wks here and lots of cm..so annoying. Invest in some liners. I had the same thing with my son..its all the pressure!

I've been using liners but just thought it was weird that more comes out when I pee. I suppose its all normal :0)

I have an ultrasound today and its always reassuring to see the baby!
