cd8 anyone else??

I am cd 10 but I am not sure when or if I am ovulating. This is my first month charting. I am still bf my ds so my cycles are a bit wonky but before ds I either ovulated around cd20-22 if my Left side was ovulating or cd 12-14 if my right side was ovulating. (Left side was a little slow) So we will see this month. Hoping this is the month for you.

I'm CD11, but this cycle is moving slower than usual, so I'm right there with you. What meds (if any) are you taking this cycle?

I'm CD 7. This is my first month on Clomid 100mg day 3-7. I ovulate on my own and it seems it is around same time typically. Not sure how Clomid will affect my O day. We will see.

kristi- im not taking any meds but if i dont cocneive this cycle i have an appt with my OB in the end of dec begining of jan.. its been ttc#1 for 17+ months and I cant do this anymore =/ I also ovulate on my own so mstngrd3 let me know how the clomid works i think i might need that as a little boost. im hoping!!! BFP's FOR US LADIES!!!!!

I will keep you posted on my progress with Clomid. I am in the same boat as you as my insurance doesn't cover any fertility. The Clomid is only costing me $ 20 mo at Costco. My doctor will do three months unmonitored and then after that if no BFP, then I will have to go in and see him. I am hoping we can knock it out with this as the cost of the other options are a little scary...especially since DH is trying to make $$$ at new job. I'm cd5 but I'm not taking any meds this month. I was on clomid for the past 5 months with a obgyn, but I switched to an RE and he wants me to go natural this month so we can do more testing.

Laurie, I know how you feel about ttc for so long, dh and I have been ttc for almost the same amount of time and I ovulate on my own. I did find out that my left tube is blocked and my new RE is going to unblock it next month. I don't know what it is so hard for us, and some people get preggo so easy.

I have never been pregnant in all my 37 years...no oopsie...no miscarriage. Now that I am married we have been trying since the beginning of the year. So far all my tests are normal. I believe Dr. wants to be aggressive due to my age...so he put me on Clomid. Please throw some baby dust our way.

Even though I am trying for #2, I understand the frustration. It took me 16 months to conceive ds. I underwent all the test and 3 failed IUI's before we got pregnant.3 of my good friends got pregnant the first month of "sort of" trying. I honestly believe you appreciate your child more when you struggle to conceive. It will happen for you ladies but it just may take time. Have faith.

I tried 5 or so rounds of clomid, but I didn’t respond to it (2 of my friends got preg on their first clomid cycle though, after TTC for over a yr). So, I was referred to an RE about a yr ago. She gave me femara, and I got preg right away (but had a m/c April). Tried a few more times w/ femara, without success. Now I’m on Femara & Gonal-F, with an IUI. This will be my 2nd IUI. Got a BFP last cycle but it was a chemical pg. I have 2-3 follicles which are still growing, and I go tomorrow for another scan to see if they’re ready to go.

Trying for #2--just cuz you have had a baby doesn't mean it's any less frustrating for you! We're all in the same boat! Did you get preg w/ your DS w/ an IUI?

We actually got pregnant naturally. We were having a natural cycle before starting IVF and got pregnant. My RE will only do 3iui's before moving on to IVF. My last IUI cycle I produced 7 eggs on puregon (injectables) and still didn't pregnant so she said we pretty much had no chance of getting pregnant without IVF. Obviously she was wrong. This time we are going to try on our own for a few months before going back. I ovulate on my own but I have a short luteal phase and thinish lining (7mm). My dh has morphology issues (4%) but obviously one was straight.

Kristi 19- I say if you got pregnant once, it can happen again and this time it will stick. Do they know why you miscarried? Do you ovulate on your own, any sperm issues?

Trying for #2, I’m in a situation similar to what you had with your first pregnancy. My RE recommends only 3 IUI’s before moving to IVF. I’m having my 2nd IUI on Thursday. My RE thought it would be Sunday, but my follicles grew really fast (not sure if that’s a good thing). They don’t know I’ve miscarried & haven’t tried to find out (they don’t check until you have 3 in a row). I don’t ovulate on my own, at least not on a regular basis. DH has a morph issue, but RE said its mild (10%). RE feels that I will move on to IVF, and will have good results, because I respond well to the meds (i.e. follicle production). But if that’s the case wouldn’t I be successful via IUI?

Kristi- I guess you have to trust your RE but I would think you would be successful with IUI's especially because you don't have big male factor problems. I know with IU's you only have an 18% chance each month where with IVF the statistics are much higher. Maybe cost wise if your insurance will help pay it may be faster to use IVF. The stats they gave me for IVF was around 45% for my age(I was 31 at the time). Good luck this month. I just saw my gp and she says I have to go back to the RE to get progesterone suppositories so I will hopefully get an appointment in January to talk to her. Hope you get your BFP. Keep me posted.

I had my IUI yesterday. All went well, except that I have low E2. RE says it's a non-issue but low E2 is associated w/ lower implantation rates (tho this is cuz if E2 is low u usually have a thin lining, but my lining is normal), and lower quality eggs. I can't help but think poor egg quality is my whole problem, but RE isn't concerned. I'm meeting w/ another RE on Tuesday.

Just saw this post. I'm CD12 today. Trying naturally this cycle. No OPKs, no temps, no charting....and its been sooooo peaceful so far! = )

lauramarie- yay! have you ovulated yet? I ovulated last cycle on cd10 and today is cd 12 for me too and i havent ovulated yet. Im gonna check an OPK later tonight but i hope us ladies get our BFP this cycle.. we so deserve it!!! =)

Hey Laurie! I dont know. I'm not tracking anything LOL. I dont think so, though. Without meds, I usually dont ovulate on my own until around CD18-CD20. For the last 3 months I have been on Clomid and ovulated around CD13-CD15, so I'm not sure if it has a lingering effect. My LMP was Nov 10, so my plan is to test with an HPT on Dec. 14th...my B-day!....if no AF by then.

We need a good round of BFPs for Christmas!!!

lauramarie well i hope you get your BFP on your birthday!!! I plan to test on Dec 11th if no AF by than.. I hope she doesnt show.. SHE WONT SHOW! =) And yes we do need many BFP's and sticky ones for xmas!!! How wonderful would that be??

I now just found out my cousin whom is 20 years old is pregnant and she isnt even with the guy anymore!! WHY ME???

kristi- both my SIL and cousin are about 5 to 5 1/2 weeks pregnant and I lost my baby back in July at 4 1/2 weeks pregnant. and yeah LauraMarie- when it rains it pours buckets! =( I just keep telling myself that I actually want this baby to them it was an "OPPS" and I know when my baby comes into this world it will have 2 lovling parents that wanted them here more than ever and tried their hardest to get them here.. Its just still very hard regardless- next im gonna find out my MIL is pregnant or something wacky! lol I swear!

Hey Laurie...I am at CD11 today. I was curious to see if you test twice a day? DH and * are testing twice a day (11:30 am & 9:30 PM) as we are trying to increase odds of a boy.

Let me know when you O and I will do 2ww you as I believe we are only one cycle day off. I have no idea if my O will be delayed as this is first cycle on Clomid and I hear that it can delay O.
