i took a break from opk's this month...i have just spent so much money on them. I know I do ovulate. I read that ovulation should take place 5-7 days past the last pill.....we bd'd on cd 12, 15, 17, and 26......I had the pains in my ovaries the worst around cd 15, which I thought I read was a sign of ovulation.......but I have read that some ovulate late, so maybe I missed it....I'm just normally a 25-28 day cycle. I don't want to keep my hopes up to be disappointed..but is there still a chance?
cd 31, 2 bfn's....is there still hope? or should i give up

1st month of clomid....on cd 31, got bfn's on cd 20 and cd 29. 75% of me thinks its just a longer cycle....but there is no sign AF is approaching and I am pretty regular. 25% of me still is holding out hope....mainly b/c I have read posts where some didnt get bfp's until weeks after, and some never got them at all. Am I just hanging onto hope foolishly? Is this healthy? or unhealthy?
My plan is to test again Monday morning, cd 34......if bfn, go to doc and ask for blood test and if thats neg, then ask bout the AF
What makes me sad is the boyfriend now asks every day if I started my period yet......and says you might be pregnant. He is so hopeful that I am. It's so sweet. I hate to disappoint him.

Carolina, there is always a chance, but its hard to say for certain, especially since you don't know when you ovulated. If you are taking clomid and putting your body through that, then you should definitely be using opk's!
I didn't ov until cd 28 when I was on clomid! I had REALLY bad pain and thought I was o'ing on cd 13-15...but it was just my body giving me weird signals apparently!

Hey cowgirl, Dont give up until you start on your period especially since you dunno when you ovulated. CD 20 is way way too early by any standards to get a +. CD 29 is accurate only if you Od on Cd 15. Ok, so the logic is if you Od on CD 15 per ur symptoms, then you should have gotten your period by now. So, you ovulated late. I would retest in a week if no period.
Also, no matter what women say about not getting a BFP until weeks or months into pregnancy or have periods in a pregnancy, they are all utterly false. They simply dont know when they ovulated and this causes them to count wrong. There is no way that a preggo woman cant turn a HPT positive.
