Carleigh and Babys room (coming together)

So I thought I would post some before pics and during pics of Carleigh's room and the babys room, Emileigh will be going into carleigh's old room it was dark puple then and yellow and green now, still lots to do but it is coming along, Carleigh is moving up to the loft it was whit and now pink and brown, we bulit in a walk in closet and put a projector in so when the couch gets here she can watch movies on it. Still tones to do but it's also coming along. The new carpet goes in on Thurs so by next weekend the rooms whould be done! I am going to get John to put up all the stuff on the walls today, I will post the finished preject next weekend..HEHE if emiliegh has not come yet..hope to god she doesnt!

Thanks Katie, Hoping, Kem and Jolene! I cant wait for them to be ready, Carleigh got home from Johns parents last night and was kinda bumed out that her old room looked so different..I cant wait for her room to be done so when she see's how wonderful it is she will really be happy..I mean I think in there the total end cost is just over $7,000 so i SURE hope she likes it!!

Just curious because we just got done remodeling our other house, well I say just got done still feels like it, but we have been on our brand new home for 6 months now, but with the other house we re-did, the kitchen, all the floors except the bedrooms, gutted and re did both bathrooms, re did the whole fireplace, cut an arch in a wall, 3 windows where windows didnt exist, new walk in closet in master bedroom (made one of the guest bedrooms a little smaller to do this), and did some other stuff, and we spent about 20,000 grand doing it, but we did it ourselves. You guys must have added this room or made part of the attic a room? I will have to send you the slideshow of our other house. It took a year and a half to complete, because we took our time, but gosh I miss it, dont miss the Sq Ft, since this one is bigger, but it was our own personal touch on everything and it turned out beautifully!

Thats not to bad, its a LOT of labor, and thats why its soo expensive. But thats not bad on the price for the carpenter honestly. I cant imagine the price it would have cost us to do our master bathroom if we contracted someone out, we spent about 2,500 on everything brand new from the all the tile in the shower and floors, toilet, vanity, sinks, just everything, but if we had someone do it, it would be atleast 8,000 for someone else to do it. But again sooo much labor involved, and would have so been worth it.
So I think yall got a great deal! Cant wait to see it done!!!

Well the carpet all got torn out today so my house is in total uproar..good thing i am in bed still..I have my doc apt at 11 am i will let you know how it goes xoxo

Glad you are getting out of the house, im sure its sooo chaotic there, ohh remodeling is a blast...haha, brings back memories, the mess DROVE ME NUTS, I was always trying to clean up and then 10seconds later it got dirty again...haha!
