Caremark IS cheaper than SuperTarget

Hey Is caremark the same as Mail Orders? Thanks to Kelli I called my insurance asking them abt prefered vendors and Mail order would have saved me atleast $300 on medications so far :( but too late now..

Umm..I don't think so..the number for Caremark is 800 237-2767. Is Mail Orders a company? I mean this is a mail order pharmacy but the name is Caremark..sorry this is confusing..hehe..

Its funny tho b/c my re said SuperTarget is competetive in price..but Caremark has me saving $100 + so far!

wow, thats great kelli! I will keep it in mind for the future IVF cycles - none of our pharmacies carried any of this fertiltiy injectables and i went thru a mail order place too but my insurnace just picked it. Im curious to see if this place will be cheaper and if my ins deals with them too.

No, ur insurance's pharmacy plan will have something like prefered pharmacies, prefered brands, etc and one of that is mail orders. Like they give u 3 months supplies for the price of 2 (per my plan). I pay $50/month on prenatals. So, if I get a 90 day supply from walgreens I pay $150 but thru my insunrance's mail order I just pay $100 :)

again 100 is my out of pocket maximum. soo, if 90 days supply cost $500, I still pay oonly 100 but at walgreens I pay $500.

Oh ok..well that must be what BC/BS recommends..b/c they said I'd get the best price w/ Caremark, and they were correct...

It is BC/BS I have that, it is wonderful!

But u know I feel they are too sneaky abt it..They didnt mention abt this mail order thingy until after Kelli told me abt it and I asked them..ugghhh so no savings for me anyways.

I emailed and asked if mine were subject to inf ded and such..and that's when they said to use Caremark.

Caremark does actually have rthe best prices as I am Currently an employee and process meds at the caremark mail order facility in illinois...Even long before I worked there,they've always had fair costs on meds...I get my fertility meds there..
