I had surgery back in June of 2009 to have a cone biopsy done to remove displasya of the cervix. My OB told me to obstain from intercourse for 6 weeks. Before surgery and right after timing was right. What I mean is my husband was home at that time and I could have conceived. He works offshore and is gone and will be gone on my calculated day of ovulation. Is there a way to change your cycle or am Im going to have to wait severaly months for it to come back around?

I had the cone biopsy done in mid July. I was also tod to obstain from intercoursse for six weeks. My cycle had been 28 days when I came off pill in Jan.My last period was 36 days. I hope it gets back to normal.

Thanks for that. 2 cycles after my cone I had an HSG done that threw my cycle off a week...so now Im really off for when my husband is home. Can your cycle be medically be changed...ie birth control to hold it off a week or so? I know...crazy question. If not...its gonna be several months before it comes back around....like well whatever it takes to get back around. My auntie comes a week before my DH leaves for work and he is gone for two weeks. Not good. HELP!!
