Can you have sex when you are 90-100% effaced?

I think it's safe as long as your water is still in tact. Might rush it along! Get your groove on firl! It'll be another 6 weeks from here! ha ha

I can't believe your sex drive. we've been restricted for about 6 wks now and still have a ways to go. i'm only 28 1/2 wks so we HAVE to hold out...i cannot risk them coming now. i don't know the answer to your question but they don't even do an internal exam on me for fear of further dilation and effacement so i know it will help welcome Christian into this world sooner! :)

I've been restricted for 5 or so weeks as well, although we've given in twice.. I am much farther along, so I felt okay with it :) We are in the clear to have sex as much as we want as of Thursday... as long as its safe being effaced.

No problem at all... so long as you don't have a Placenta Previa (which your doc would have told you) and/or have some other gestational condition...

I'm doing well Katie. Still having contractions.. but i haven't had any super bad ones lately! They are actually lighter... I'm starting to think christian changed his mind and wants to stay in!
