can you feel different symptoms with diff. pregnancy?

Hey with my first i didnt really feel much until after a week or more from my missed period. i m/c. second preg. i knew i was b/c breast were so swollen and painful even before my flow and i m/c. Now i see and RE and i go friday for a preg. test(12dpo)he said it may not show up until 16dpo. I dont feel any symptoms now like i did with second preg.(i am supposed to start on aug11)just wandering if that is normal i did have slight cramping on 6dpo but i am on prometruim 200mg once a day. any thoughts? thanks sorry i tend to be long winded.
