Can someone please help me understand my chart?

I am new at this and think that I may have ovulated but am not sure. I have taken opks, the answer brand, and am unsure of their accuracy. I took one and the test line was very line so I know that was negative but then on another day I took it and the test line was like 90% color, not quite as dark as the control line. I read somewhere that some tests are positive when they are more than 65% color. What do you all think? I appreciate your help. Oh and on my chart I mest up when I started it and cant figure out how to fix it, cycle day 1 was actually on the 2nd.

Hi Misty, If you have regular periods, then Im thinking you might not have taken the BBT properly. Only an OPK can be more accurate than BBT in predicting ovulation. So, did you get a + OPK on CD 12 or 16? If so, you may have ovulated on one of those days..Its confusing. But you would soon know which one it was in about 12 to 14 days so that next month, if needed you would know when ovulation exactly happens.

Thank you for your reply Hope. My periods have been very irregular for the last year. The opk that had 90% color was taken on cd16 and I was thinking that I had ovulated that day but am unsure because the kit says it is suppose to be the same color or darker.

Looks like CD 16 is the day u ovulated because because ur temperatures increased to 98 F after that which is because of progesterone. Also, continue testing until you get a 100% positve OPK and once yo do get it, stop testing.
