January 27, 2008

I am on cd 29 and in my tww.. i was very sick with a cold all last week and during that time my nipples were so sore i couldnt beleve it.. But now that my cold is gone so are my sore nipples.. they are only slightly painful when i push on them, nothing like last week.. could i still be pregnant even though my nipples dont hurt so bad.. im afraid to test too early.

Thanks in advance dr Q

FYI, when I got pregnant on Clomid my nipples were horribly sore until 7dpo, at which point the pain left the nipple but spread throughout the entire breast.

Everyone is different, so it's hard to compare symptoms, but there you go.

thats kinda what happened to me.. since the day of ovulation my nipples were very very sore and now 7dpo the pain has subsided quite a bit in the nipple area but the sides of my breasts are now a little sore but only when i push on them.. i hope i am pregnant.. i have been waiting for this my whole life..

alikk = how many rounds of clomid did you take before conceiving?

January 27, 2008

tiffanyn: have you thought about ivf...since you've been trying to conceive for 10 years? also, how many rounds have you tried on clomid and has your dr. told you what he/she thinks the problem is in your conceiving, such as blocked tube, pcos, anovulation?

January 28, 2008

i was just recently diagnosed with pcos.. doctor says im not ovulating.. this was my first round of clomid...

January 28, 2008

First round was a charm for me...but I didn't have ovulation issues. It was given merely as a boost.

January 28, 2008

like alikk, the reason i'm taking femara is b/c i lost a tube as a result of ectopic and so they are trying to up my chances of getting pregnant b/c of my diminished statistics.

I took a round of clomid but b/c the side effects were so terrible, they switched me to femara.

Tiffanyn, best of luck to you. if you are a control freak like me, you may want to ask your dr. to give you an hcg shot when your follicle is mature so that you have a definite time length where you will know when you ovulate.

I hope you are pregnant!

January 28, 2008

I agree, take a test and please keep us posted. GOOD LUCK!!

January 29, 2008

ok so i didnt have to test.. AF came 5 days early and full blown.. i think i need a break from trying right now. It just feels so hopeless and ttc does put alot of pressure on your relationship as well..

thanks ladies for all the support and baby dust to all of you!!

January 29, 2008

tiffany, I totally understand how you feel. Did you say if you ever tried using opk's? I swear by them! Taking a break is always good if you're starting to feel too overwhelmed and if it's starting to affect your relationship in a negative way. Some women if fall preggers the first month they take their "break" from ttc cause the stress is gone. Good luck
