Can Pericentric Inversion be the cause of miscarriages?
Hi we have been ttc for over a year. Dec 07 I came off BC and fell pregnant soon after. I had my first MC in Jan 08. I then got pregnant again in May and had an ectopic pregnancy in July resulting in removal of my ruptured right tube. We had a chromosome test done and my husband has a pericentric inversion of one chromosome 9 but was considered to be a normal variant. My OBGYN tells me that this is not the cause of my MC's but I have read other post that lead me to believe otherwise. Please help!

Much depends on how this inversion is presented in his sperm, and it may be a cause for recurrent miscarriages.
Best to seek out the help of a geneticist who can provide you with better guidance regarding this issue
