can one be pregnant before ovulation?

had period last month on time with normal flow- tested day before period came and it was negitive hpt well today I ovulate and the last 2 days I have been vomiting.. Not sure if its just a flu or what but could one be pregnant even after a period and before ovulation?! Just wondering I know my sister was pregnant and still had her period for 4 months until she found out for sure... Any ideas would be great!!! Thanks!
Jennifer No I am not taking clomid or anything. We wanted to try the "natural" way so to speak for atleast 2 years and if nothing than we will go get treatment. Hubby doesnt want us to use meds PLUS my insurance doesnt cover that either. I got preg. the end of June and lost the baby at 4 1/2 weeks in July =( So it CAN HAPPEN! and it WILL HAPPEN! I have faith.. But thanks hun!!!

This can't be possible if one knows they haven't ovulated yet...but hope you do wind up getting pregnant with this cycle...
