Can my Ob/gyn do my ultrasounds?

I think it's very important that your RE performs the ultrasounds for various reasons. Only an RE can measure accurately the number and sizes of follicles to make a determination as to when ovulation will occur, otherwise improper assessments can be made and the month wasted. The only ultrasound I would ever recommend getting done somewhere else would be the baseline ultrasound where they're just looking for any type of ovarian cyst.
