I never had an ultrasound done until my first Gonal F cycle. I had it done for the first time it after 6 days of 150 Gonal F. The Dr. conducting the ultrasound said that my right Ovary was enlarged. (In fact most of my cycles I feel pain in my right Ovary prior to Ovulation). She said I was very sensitive to Gonal F and produced many follicles, each side had 10 small ones, 4-5 medium ones, and my Left Ovary produced a large dominant follicle (the cycle was unsuccessful). I noticed that the Dr. wrote in my chart "PCO" - Polycystic Ovary, I presume. I discussed the cycle with my RE and he said that I reacted to Gonal F in a way that a person with PCOS would, although I have unexplained infertility.
My question is: is it possible for one to have PCOS based on the ultrasound findings, even though they ovulate and the b/w is normal?
