on april 8th i had unprotected sex and he came inside me ... i got my period today , can i still be pregnant and if so when should i take a test

Most likely not if u had sex 5 days prior to period and u still got ur period today. If ur trying to get preggo, u should have sex around fertile days which is 14 days before ur next period start date and then test on the day of missed period. Good luck
