Can Hypospadias cause fertility problems?

My husband has mild hypospadias, his opening is at the base of the head of his penis instead of the tip. He told me that doctor's have always said this should not affect his fertility. Could it be the reason I have not been getting pregnant?

Hi,

Severe hypospadias may cause infertility, but a mild form like your doc stated and it appears, shouldn't be the main problem.. It may be many other issues as well, and if it's been >1yr, then best to get tested

Hi, please email me if you find anything out. We are in the same boat except I have PCOS and one ovary. Husband is waiting to be tested.
