Can Bactrim Ds help Bacterial Vaginosis?

I just started taking Bactrim Ds for a UTI..question is if my BV came back, will the Bactrim clear up both the UTI and BV? Also my OB told me BV doesnt affect your Fall. tubes but i read online that it does. I know if you douche you can push bad bateria up in, which i used to do after my AF up until June..i stopped cuz i got Pg and then even after it was Ectopic i didnt and wont ever do it again. If my EP happened becuz i had a infection and the douching infected my tubes..will the normal meds they give you for whatever infection cuased it ,clear the infection out of your tubes as well?
