Can anyone explain a frozen ivf transfer to me?

We have our first fresh starting the cycle with bcp this wk. I'm wondering if the first doesn't work..what will a frozen transfer be like? What are the meds like? How soon after a failed fresh can you do a frozen?

i think its just the same as the fresh transfer but without the nasty meds and retreval. Like you would go in to have the transfer and take the estrace and progesterone afterwards.

Im pretty sure they have to "defrost" them and watch them for a few days b4 the transfer.

if you dont get a real answer i know that Mary had 2 frozen transfer cycles :)

Ok, thanks Chels..I know its wayyy cheaper. How do they determine when to do it?
