can a really bad urine infection affect an embryo?

sorry! I am 7 weeks pregnant and I got a urine analysis. I called the doctor and she said I have to take antibiotics can the infection affect the baby? Everything else was normal! Please help!!

I am 7 weeks pregnant! My doctor sent me to get a urine analysis and she said all the blood tests came back normal but my urine came back as me having a REALLY bad urine infection and I am wondering if this can affect the embryo?she prescribed me duricef ! please help!

For the most part, it shouldn't affect an embryo, but should be taken care of with antibiotics quickly

For the most part, a UTI shouldn't affect an embryo when not having an embryo transfer performed, when it can adversly irritate the uterus

Please if one has a UTI see a doc for antibiotic therapy
