So, last night (day 2 of first time taking provera) I went out and found myself not feeling well, so I went into the bathroom to get some fresh air or whatever. The next thing I knew I was laying on the ground surrounded by paramedics. They said I fainted or blacked out and they were very concerned because immediately afterward my heart rate was elevated to 160. I had a couple of drinks, but after a breathalysers they determined that wasn't the problem because I was below the legal limit. I was taken to the hospital and was given iv fluids and they monitored my heart rate, treated a facial laceration with a couple of stitches, a was administered a tetanus shot, and ex rays determined that i have a fractured jaw. They said that all my bloodwork came back showing everything was ok. I was dehydrated, and that plus the combination of having a drink mixed with red bull, being in a hot environment, dancing, then the shock of the episode was what caused the fainting and injuries. Also, I had been taking allergy med's for a few days prior to this episode, which may have been part of the reason for the dehydration. I have discontinued taking this allergy medication and have been drinking plenty of fluids since i have been home. SO they said having just started my first cycle of provera had nothing to do with this episode, and i can continue taking the meds. However, I'm now taking vicodine for the pain, and will be following up with an oral surgeon probably Monday, so I'm not sure how they will be treating me for the fracture just yet.
My question is will this injury or being on pain med's put me in a situation now where I won't be able to take the clomid or ttc later this month? Is there an alternative pain medication that i can ask my dr about that would be more appropriate to take if i'm ttc? And if god forbid they have to wire my mouth or put in a plate or something to fix the fracture... how in the world would I be able to start the clomid?
Any input would be greatly appreciated!

We hope you don't have to get your jaw wired shut. This would mean that one can only consume liquids through a straw. In theory, the clomid could possibly be chopped up so that one can ttc if they're up for it while their jaw heals...we hope that this won't be the case
