Can a 2 minute long contraction hurt the baby?

It shouldn't the vast majority of the time so long as there's no bleeding associated with it..

oh no bleeding! It'd be nice to see a bloody show though!!!! i want this kid out! ;)

Keep him in as long as ya can hun...trust me, my little guy has gone through the wringer and he was 3wks early. xoxoxoxo

Again, during my NST, I had a single contraction that lasted 8 mins +. It was coz the Dr hyperstimulating the uterus during an internal exam. No issues so far.

oh meghan!! the things you are going through!! i feel terrible for you... a 2 minute long contraction could NOT have felt good. how are you doing now? did you have it again?

Lol.. it was okay Oli.. it really wasn't that painful of a contraction.. just super long!!! I'm wishing for the painful ones know.. because when they come, I can go to the hospital.

I'm doing alright.. but I'll be doing better when I'm doubled over in pain and headed towards the car!!

The nursery is getting prepped for the first coat of paint as we speak! woo hoo!

Thanks Fran.. my mood is definitely a bit better today! :) you are right.. getting the nursery painted is giving me quite the boost.. however.. I still just want to be at the hospital pushing this baby out!! :)
