Well, i'm about to give up. A few hours after i wrote...my period started. So it came at the end of 12dpo. Does this mean I am ovulating before my IUI's and without the HCG shot? I am given the HCG shot 40 hours before the IUI and the IUI was two week ago tomorrow (MONDAY). I don't think I want any more treatments until they do a laproscopy. Do you agree? Obviously things are working fine in the egg department now with the follistim, but nothing is attaching. Also...a few weeks ago My husband and I were tested for some sort of sperm antibody. The results should be in now...but i never got a call yet. I was hoping it wasn't bad news and they were just waiting to see if i was pregnant or not this cycle. Maybe all is fine, and it's like a "no news is good news" thing. Anyway...if i was pregnant once before (miscarried) don't you think we are free of any sperm antibodies? I know i just asked a lot of questions... but thanks...looking forward to your answer.
Can 12 dpo be too soon to test?

Ok, so my RE said to test 14 days past ovulation... I guess i didn't listen and i tried to see what the test said this evening...at 12 dpo. Do you think there's a chance that it could be positive in a couple days? I feel like i have pregnancy symptoms but sometimes its hard to tell if it's the same as pre-menstrual symptoms. Last night i was exhausted and had a killer headache. I know that may be nothing though. My breasts have been sore since the follistim so, that is hard to go by. They do seem a bit bigger though.
Hi Anemo,
Hang in there, it will happen and you always have to stay positive!
In terms of ovulation with hCG and IUIs, the timing is ok as to what was done, of which timing doesn't have to be accurate. No news is usually good news is very true in the medical field, and although tough not to think about it, wouldn't be too concerned over this right now for the same reasons you said.
A laparoscopy may help, but is not essential unless you feel or have been told you're at high risk for having endometriosis.
We know your system works, you've been pregnant before, and now it appears to be an "odds" game and only by going through this and playing the odds, will you win...As an RE, we always have to encourage our patients...so that when we help you pregnant and you're happy can we say "told ya so" :)

thanks so much. I feel less worried about the sperm antibody thing now. Well...gosh...i guess i will see what my RE says tomorrow. What you said about the lap. makes perfect sense. I guess i'm just concerned because i've heard some people who say they had NO menstrual cramps (like me), then they do a lap. and find out there is the tiniest bit of scarring that was probably preventing pregnancy the whole time. Have you ever seen this? And would that tiny bit of scarring really have anything to do with not getting pregnant? I just can't believe that my eggs have been perfect twice and things still can't attach!?! I just don't get it. So would you say i definitely ovulated since my period started just about right on time? At least i have that going for me.

These are definately strong Progesterone symptoms you're feeling, most likely from the follistim that created "stronger" follicles. Depending on the hpt it should turn positive by no later than tomorrow, (people can start getting positives at 12dpo) we completely wish you the best and Good Luck!
